The Thanksgiving leftovers are gone, Santa is back at the North Pole, but the weather is still frightful. Though the Christmas lights may stay up a few more weeks until a break between snowfalls and frigid temperatures, the mood changes after the holidays.

Holiday season is upon us, and the end of the year is possibly the busiest time for all of us.
We kick off the start of this season with Halloween, a night dedicated to costumes and candy followed by a week of finishing off the candy that ghouls didn’t ring your doorbell to claim. Shortly after that comes Thanksgiving, a day to harvest our work’s bounty with paid time off to sit around and do nothing else but eat and eat and eat.

The American Sleep Apnea Association strives to improve the lives of anyone suffering from sleep health issues. We oftentimes consider a sleep issue as simply a part of life but it certainly should not be that way, especially when ignoring these problems can have severe life-threatening consequences.

Once you’ve experienced the relief of a CPAP machine and other associated devices give you while you sleep, it’s almost frightening to imagine having to stop using them, even for a little.
