Alyeska International, Inc. dba Alaska Sleep Clinic is officially verified as a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB).  Alyeska International, Inc. is currently the only verified VOSB in the state of Alaska doing business in the medical arena.   

Recognition of the sacrifices of our men and women in uniform who made the transition to small business owners first began with Public Law 106-50 or the Veteran-owned small business The Veterans Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development Act of 1999. The purpose of the Act was to establish new assistance programs for Veterans that were small business owners or planning to make the transition to owning their own business. The Act also established an annual government-wide goal of not less than 3% of the total value of all prime contract and subcontract awards for participation by small business concerns owned and controlled by service-disabled veterans. This law was a tremendous win for Veterans.  Many Veterans start their business careers later in life and recognition and set-aside programs can be the difference between success and failure.
All four of the Alaska Sleep Clinic locations are accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).
About Accredited Sleep Centers

American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) accreditation is the gold standard for sleep testing. Each sleep center accredited with the AASM has demonstrated a commitment to the highest quality of diagnostic sleep testing.   All four of the Alaska Sleep Clinic locations are accredited by AASM. 

Home Sleep Apnea Tests

Select sleep centers have been accredited by the AASM to provide home sleep apnea tests. These centers offer convenient testing options to patients while demonstrating a commitment to quality diagnostic services. A home sleep apnea test allows you to sleep at home while wearing equipment that collects information about how you breathe during sleep.

Brent Fisher has held leadership positions spanning a wide variety of complex and start-up organizations: manufacturing (pharmaceutical & medical device), software development, hospitals (academic and community), medical groups, consulting, hospice, military, engineered devices, engineered plastics, and private equity.

His writings have been published in various magazines, trade journals, and medical journals, including the Physician Executive Journal, Healthcare Executive, Modern Healthcare, Group Practice Journal, New England Journal of Medicine, and Journal of Healthcare Management (Best Article Award).

He has served on the Board of Directors of professional associations, civic organizations, and businesses.
