2. Narcolepsy-An issue with controlling sleep and wakefulness is narcolepsy, a neurological sleep regulation condition. In addition to sporadic, uncontrollable episodes of daytime sleepiness, people with narcolepsy have excessive daytime sleepiness. Any activity, at any time of day, may trigger one of these unexpected sleep bouts. A sudden muscle weakness coupled with laughter or other emotions might occur in some narcolepsy sufferers.
